Teaching Heart's Newest CDROM and Winners.

Awhile back I entered the giveaway hosted by Teaching Heart Mom & won the new CD (I'm on a roll!) LoL I was excited when I was told about winning, and just as excited about getting it in the mail.

The CD is packed full! My boys love playing the games we have printed out from the CD and the learning that they retain from playing games is just awesome! LoL

I highly recommend this CD for any homeschooler ... or any teacher out there!

Guess who won the SpellQuizzer Giveaway from Chic Mummy??? Yep, you guessed it ... Me!!! I am so thrilled!!! :)

I've downloaded it and registered it today. Now I just have to find my microphone. Wonder where that thing is? LoL I hope to find it this evening so the boys can start using it by tomorrow at the latest.

" SpellQuizzer is simple and narrowly focused: it helps children practice their spelling words. With SpellQuizzer you make custom spelling lists by making a sound recording of each word as it is added to the list. The software is then used by the child to practice their spelling. It corrects the student each time a word is misspelled with an amusing prompt showing them the correct spelling. When the student finishes the list it offers to re-quiz them on the words they missed. Since you create your own lists you can record words using your own voice and even make some entertaining recordings to keep the practice fun. I do not have any personal knowledge of this product. If I win a copy, I'll certainly let you all know what I like or dislike about the program, but for now you'll just have to make up your own minds. :)
